Biography

Briefly as it’s pretty boring .... born at an incredibly early age in 1961 and ‘dragged up’ in the South Manchester area. A miserable failure on the academic front with custodial terms spent in photographic retail and Royal Mail. A love of the Lake District and unexpected early release from the Post Office in 2004 for good behaviour saw a move from South Cheshire to Cumbria. Since leaving Royal Mail I’ve generally kept my nose clean, stayed out of trouble and concentrated on my photography!

For the technophiles my photographic equipment currently consists of Hasselblad XPAN 11 and Noblex 135UC systems. Film stock is exclusively Fuji Velvia. Original slides are Imacon scanned and then output using only the finest inks and heavyweight paper.
