The boat landings by The Inn on the Lake at Glenridding are probably the most photographed in all The Lakes. Quarter to six on a freezing but calm April morning. The sun is just about to rise and a light layer of frost covers the landing. The scene was actually darker than the photograph might suggest. Exposure was a full thirty seconds, a three stop hard ND Grad held back the sky and the jetty was 'painted in' with a head torch during the exposure.
