Dawn Bassenthwaite in mid November. A lovely morning with lots of mist and a bit of colour in the sky. The photograph was taken from the north western shoreline between the sailing club and Banks Point so you are shooting into the rising sun from this point. Luckily the mist has helped hold back the brightness of the sky helped further by a 3 stop ND Grad and a 3 stop ND filter to prolong the exposure to 25 seconds. One essential accessory when shooting around Bass Lake is a decent pair of wellys!
