Ashness Bridge
Ashness Bridge has to be one of the best views in all Lakeland. This is an April evening shot, the low sun still bathing both a distant Skiddaw and the undersides of the bridge helping to lift the shadows. A Lee 0.9 Hard ND Grad filter has held back the exposure in the upper part of the picture whilst a Lee 6 Stop ND filter has prolonged the overall exposure to 6 seconds. Nikon D850 with Nikon 24-70mm f2.8, tripod and a pair of wellys!
