Tucano T.1 ZF287 RAF
The airspace in the Lake District is much quieter following the retirement of the RAF's Tucano fleet in 2019 and subsequent closure of their base at Linton-on-Ouse (North Yorkshire). ZF287 is pictured here in happier times in 2015 when virtually every other low level movement through the Lakes seemed to be a 'Tuc'. Picture taken from Smaithwaite.
