Taken soon after dawn in mid November. Thick mist enveloped the valley floor from Borrowdale, along the Derwent, Bassenthwaite and Embleton valleys all the way to Cockermouth.
The view from Dodd affords superb views over Derwent Water and the Newlands Valley taking in a formidable number of fells.
